The Murder in the Rue Cirque

The small traveling circus of Rue Cirque is thrown into turmoil when the brutal murder of Mr. Waddles is discovered in his locked wagon. 

With time running out before the circus moves on—potentially taking the killer with it—a detective is called to unravel the mystery. They have three days to examine the crime scene, gather evidence, and interrogate the circus members, piecing together the truth.

The Murder in the Rue Cirque is a rich, story-driven point-and-click game. As the newly arrived detective, you have three days to investigate the crime scene, gather any sinister-looking objects hidden within the suspiciously large wagon that might be linked to the murder of the late Mr. Waddles, and confront your suspects. 

Your greatest weapons? A suitcase full of evidence and a notebook brimming with details everyone else has overlooked.

Two official clowns, two acrobats, a magician; and the very manager who called you here. But what if that, too, was a red herring?

This game was developed during the Winter Semester 2024/25 as part of the Digital Dreams II project at Bauhaus University Weimar.
